Top SchoolNajim Ahmed is a pragmatic engineering leader with 11 years’ experience building cloud-native, distributed systems and leading multi-team delivery across Oil & Gas, GLCs, Sustainability, E‑commerce, Media, and Insurance. As Head of Software Engineering he combines hands-on system design (Java/Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, Spark/Databricks) with operational rigor—driving CI/CD, Kubernetes/GitOps, observability, and DevSecOps to create predictable, resilient platforms. He has a track record of shrinking latencies and error rates at scale (e.g., p95 <150ms across 40+ APIs for 40,000+ users) and has retooled pipelines and architectures to restore SLO compliance. Najim also leads enterprise GenAI adoption, moving pilots to governed, production-grade systems that boost developer productivity and decision-making. Known for building from within the system, he balances technical mentorship, hiring and KPIs to scale both platforms and teams while owning pre-sales solutioning and delivery commitments. Based in Kuala Lumpur, he blends deep backend and data engineering expertise with a strong product-alignment mindset.
