Senior🎓
Top SchoolNalaka Hewage is a Senior Agile Product Owner based in Gothenburg with a decade of hands-on experience blending software architecture and product leadership to deliver customer-focused solutions. He has progressed from technical lead and software architect roles to senior product ownership, leading offshore teams and shipping over ten cross-platform projects using Java, Android, iOS, Angular, Vue.js and AWS. Known for translating complex technical trade-offs into prioritized roadmaps, he pairs deep architecture judgement with practical MVP and proof-of-concept delivery. His background in building and mentoring distributed teams gives him a pragmatic edge in scaling processes and maintaining high-quality code while accelerating time-to-market. Educated in IT and business (MBA), he brings both technical rigor and commercial awareness to product decisions. A detail that often surprises colleagues: he routinely moves between hands-on architecture reviews and stakeholder-facing product strategy, closing the gap between code-level quality and business outcomes.
