Rasmunandar Rustam
Summary
👤
SeniorNandar Rustam is a Senior Software Engineer and SRE team lead with 11 years of experience building scalable backend systems and production-grade reliability at Google. He progressed from founding and scaling a ride-sharing startup (acquired by LINE) to leading backend teams at LINE Indonesia before joining Google to advance BeyondCorp’s zero-trust SRE mission. Comfortable both hacking on algorithms and architecting infrastructure, he blends hands-on coding with leadership across large distributed systems. Based in Dublin, he specializes in backend, infra, and web technologies with a pragmatic focus on operational excellence. Colleagues know him as a 70/30 practitioner — primarily a technical problem solver who also drives product outcomes. Outside work he channels his competitive streak into ping-pong and badminton, a small indicator of his love for fast feedback loops and continuous improvement.
