Senior🎓
Top SchoolNarumi Kano is a Senior Consultant based in Greater Tokyo with 14 years of experience specializing in IT recruitment across Japan, currently leading talent searches for software engineers, IT consultants, PMs and PMOs at Hays. She has a strong track record across both global and local recruitment brands, including prior senior roles at Michael Page and hands-on HR experience at a major Japanese publisher. Fluent in navigating specialist tech markets, she leverages Hays’ extensive regional network to place candidates across Tokyo, Kanagawa and Kansai, often in hard-to-fill digital technology roles. Her academic background in information science from Tokyo Woman’s Christian University complements a data-informed approach to sourcing and matching candidates. Known for combining consultative career guidance with employer-facing hiring strategy, she frequently handles senior and niche technical mandates. Outside recruiting, her mix of corporate HR operations and specialized IT search gives her an uncommon ability to advise on compensation, compliance and candidate experience in Japan’s competitive tech market.
