Senior🎓
Top SchoolNatalye Childress is a versatile copy editor and storyteller with 12 years of experience crafting journalism features, technical book edits, marketing copy, and PR materials across tech and music industries. Based in Berlin, she blends rigorous editorial standards (AP/MLA, line editing, proofreading) with creative consultancy for brands like Ableton, Native Instruments, and Birkenstock. Her freelance portfolio includes editing influential technical books on Swift, app architecture, and functional programming, demonstrating an uncommon fluency in both creative and technical topics such as computer vision and iOS/macOS development. She also mentors writers and students one-on-one, bringing a patient teacher’s ethos to fast-paced editorial workflows. Comfortable working across startups and established publishers, Natalye pairs a journalist’s curiosity with a copywriter’s commercial sensibility. Colleagues describe her work as meticulous, narrative-driven, and quietly punk at heart.
