Senior🎓
Top SchoolNate Ebel is a software engineer and technical leader with 11+ years building scalable mobile apps and distributed systems, currently at Meta and running his own consultancy, goobar. He has driven product and engineering transformations at Premise—scaling a mobile app to 10M+ installs, launching a crypto wallet/offramp across 80+ countries, and delivering a new Prime data platform that materially improved margins through UX, computer vision, and data quality work. Nate specializes in Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose, and cloud-native patterns, creating cross-platform libraries and microservice templates that reduced duplication and accelerated delivery. He pairs hands-on engineering with mentoring and organizational strategy, standardizing on-call practices and improving CI/CD and observability to cut build and release failures dramatically. Outside of product work he teaches and creates content (LinkedIn Learning, Pluralsight, YouTube), and his early academic research fused Android devices with evolutionary robotics—an unusual blend of mobile engineering and experimental robotics.
