Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNate Finch is an application architect and full-stack web engineer with 11+ years building scalable WordPress and serverless platforms, currently shaping application architecture at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He has driven e-commerce and serverless initiatives at Elementor and Strattic, helping deliver high-traffic, revenue-generating systems using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and modern front-end frameworks. Nate blends hands-on engineering with developer leadership—formerly VP of Development—mentoring teams, introducing CI/CD and modern workflows, and shipping products from prototype to production. A perpetual learner with three master’s degrees, he experiments with Jamstack, Laravel, React, and PHP while consulting through Finch Professional Services for diverse clients. He’s traveled and lived globally, speaks Spanish, and brings a pragmatic “function over form” ethic that favors robust, maintainable solutions. Outside work he writes about development, cooks and coffees enthusiastically, and treats every outage as an opportunity to learn.
