Summary
👤
SeniorNate Hedglin is a Principal Software Engineer with nine years of experience modernizing systems, leading teams, and shipping reliable cloud-native solutions. He combines deep .NET and Microsoft-platform expertise with hands-on work in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and React to deliver measurable performance gains—once cutting a batch job from over two hours to two minutes. Nate has led full-stack rebuilds, custom CMS and EMR integrations, and designed microservices and tracing frameworks that scale to millions of users. He also teaches the MERN stack, helping new developers transition into the industry, and runs consultancy projects through NatesCode LLC. Pragmatic and platform-agnostic, he favors the right tool for the job while advocating for open, secure, and well-instrumented systems. Based in Monticello, MN, he lives by a “just keep shipping” ethos that balances continuous delivery with thoughtful architecture.
