Top SchoolNate Kean is a sustainability-minded software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience blending research-grade Python development, IT support, and data-driven process improvement. A Cum Laude Computer Science graduate from Missouri S&T, he contributed as a research programmer to the NASA-backed RAiDER project, applying tropospheric correction and raytracing techniques to improve satellite radar imagery. Nate pairs practical system administration and help-desk experience with front-end and automation work—having built internal tools, digital signage, and payment-enabled web features for campus groups—so he moves fluidly between user-facing solutions and scientific code. Currently he serves as Contact Management Coordinator at James River Church, where he’s turning software skills into better attendance and engagement tracking to support ministry outcomes. Colleagues know him as a problem-solver who treats technology as a tool for service, not just code.
