Senior🎓
Top SchoolNathalie Steinmetz is a founder and seasoned software engineer with 13+ years of production experience and a strong research background in semantic technologies and vertical search. She has led R&D teams and architected scalable web APIs and integrations across startups and products—from a semantic Web Services search engine to large-scale staff-planning and patent workflow platforms—working hands-on in Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, Ember.js and modern cloud tooling. As Founder & CEO of She's Coding she grew a volunteer-driven nonprofit to multiple locations and 2,500+ members, turning community building into sustainable programs, fundraising and technical open-source mentorship. Comfortable shifting between code, product and cross-functional leadership, she blends academic rigor (MSc Computer Science) with practical startup execution. Currently on a career break in Amsterdam, she is seeking collaborations in the tech-for-good and nonprofit space where her mix of engineering, research and community leadership can drive impact.
