Nathan C is a Toronto-based software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building AI-driven systems, developer tooling, and production-grade data pipelines. He has co-founded a stealth startup focused on web agents, contributed to AI safety research in federated learning, and shipped ML and data engineering solutions at RBC that ranged from large-scale ETL and digital twins for agriculture to B2B AI assistants that improved call-center workflows. Currently at Gitar, he builds coding systems to accelerate software development, combining practical MLOps, backend engineering, and automation expertise. A two-time Hack the North prize-winner and University of Waterloo alum, he brings both entrepreneurial grit and research curiosity, aiming to apply tech for social good and ultimately contribute to AGI. Notably, his experience spans both low-level systems administration—running one of Canada’s largest Linux mirrors—and high-level agent and model orchestration.
