Top SchoolNathan Cosgray is a data engineer in Seattle with 10 years of hands-on experience designing ETL pipelines, databases, and business intelligence solutions for public-sector organizations. He has progressed from system and database administration through senior analyst/developer roles to his current City of Seattle position, bringing deep institutional knowledge of civic data systems. Nathan combines practical production skills with a hobbyist's passion for open source, often exploring community tools and lightweight integrations outside work. Known for turning complex data requirements into auditable, maintainable pipelines, he’s equally comfortable optimizing queries as he is shaping reporting workflows for nontechnical stakeholders. His background across libraries, healthcare, and higher education gives him a rare perspective on data governance, privacy, and reuse in public services.
