Top SchoolNathan Gardiner is a Senior Solutions Architect and IT security specialist based in Melbourne with over 20 years’ hands-on experience designing, implementing and optimising network and security architectures for large international and high-availability financial environments. He combines deep expertise in firewall/IPS, SD-WAN, data centre and WAN networking with cloud security across AWS, Azure, GCP and OpenStack, and is fluent in automation using Ansible and Terraform. Nathan has led regional professional services teams, grown revenues through standardisation and bespoke offerings, and delivered complex migrations and large-scale bank platform refreshes across Asia-Pacific. He’s equally comfortable in tactical system builds and strategic security roadmaps, having built on-demand security platforms and run multi-year infrastructure consolidations. A pragmatic technologist, he blends vendor-agnostic solution design with operational hygiene and capacity planning, often surfacing optimisations that reduce risk and cost in running critical infrastructure.
