Top SchoolNathan Hoad is a Senior Software Engineer based in New York with 11 years of experience building reliable, fault-tolerant systems across networking and messaging domains. He has deep hands-on expertise implementing TLS-intercepting HTTP proxies, userspace firewalls, high-performance HTTP servers, and scalable messaging systems using RabbitMQ and similar tech. Comfortable with asynchronous programming models—coroutines and callback frameworks—he repeatedly delivers resilient infrastructure components used in production at Bloomberg and earlier at Netbox Blue. Known for bridging low-level networking detail with pragmatic system design, he brings a track record of tackling complex protocol and reliability challenges that rarely make front-page resumes.
