Senior🎓
Top SchoolNathan Mcminn is a seasoned technology leader and CTO with 15 years of experience building cloud-native systems, embedded IoT platforms, and high-performance engineering teams. He co-founded and led Conserv’s LoRaWAN environmental monitoring product from sensor design and firmware through AWS-based real-time data pipelines and user-facing apps, then scaled engineering practices at Scale Microgrids to operationalize techno-economic models and fleet management for distributed energy resources. Comfortable toggling between hands-on architecture and people leadership, he has deep expertise in AWS, IoT protocols, edge integrations (SCADA/PLCs), and AI-driven telemetry analysis. Nathan pairs a pragmatic maker’s mindset with experience running security audits, vendor negotiations, and governance for AI and open source, and he’s equally at home prototyping hardware enclosures as defining service delivery for global customers. Based in New Jersey, he brings a rare blend of field-tested embedded systems know-how and cloud architecture that helps conservation and energy organizations turn sensor data into actionable insight.
