Senior🎓
Top SchoolNathaniel Waisbrot is a Site Reliability Engineer with 12 years of experience building and operating resilient, production-grade systems from startups to Google and Fitbit. He blends hands-on software engineering (Python, Java, Erlang, Elixir) with incident leadership, automation of release processes, and teaching engineering teams to design for observability and reliability. At Google he automated a monolith break-out for Fitbit teams, and at Fitbit he ran incident response, post-incident reviews, and internal tooling that improved developer and production workflows. He’s led server-side teams ingesting high-volume biometric data and introduced containerization and microservices in prior roles, showing a knack for modernizing legacy stacks. Based in Cambridge, MA, he prefers recruiter outreach that’s specific and transparent about role and compensation—an indicator of his pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
