Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolNathaniel Wunderly is a Senior Software Engineer with six years of experience blending aerospace engineering rigor and practical software development, currently building systems at Oceaneering in the DC–Baltimore area. He has a track record leading small teams and projects—from founding Vaccinator Security to running his own small business, Malsense—focused on malware research and community-focused cybersecurity. Nathaniel’s background in aerospace and hands-on UAV fault-detection research informs a disciplined approach to safety-critical software and instrumentation testing. He’s shipped SaaS products as a technical lead and served as a software qualification engineer for nuclear lab control systems, demonstrating both product and regulatory-minded engineering. Equally at home in research and operations, he pairs curiosity about space and malware with pragmatic tooling and team leadership. Colleagues describe him as a “phish catcher” and malware connoisseur who still makes time to be a grass toucher—an engineer who balances deep technical focus with grounded, real-world perspective.
