Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNattie Chan is a software engineer based in Vancouver with 7 years of hands-on experience bridging data engineering and full‑stack development, and five years focused on shipping backend systems and developer tooling. She has led Django upgrades, refactored monolithic frontends into dynamic single-page flows, and standardized accessibility-first validation across Angular apps. Her background in music and clinical health sciences informs a thoughtful, evidence-driven approach to problem solving and team collaboration, and she often digs into the “why” behind infrastructure choices to make systems more maintainable. At Alloy and Plum she implemented automation and monitoring that materially reduced manual work and false-positive alerts, and at PolicyMe she improved developer onboarding through more reproducible Docker configurations. Active on GitHub, she uses projects as a learning playground and is open to conversations about transitioning into tech from non-traditional careers.
