Top SchoolNauval Atmaja is a software development manager with 12 years of experience designing and delivering scalable, testable backend systems and developer platforms from Jakarta. He combines hands-on engineering—contributing to open-source tooling like an enhanced Elasticsearch query builder—with leadership that drives measurable operational improvements, such as reducing DB CPU usage and cutting developer build times. At Advotics he introduced Clean Architecture and company-wide observability (ELK/APM), halving debugging time and improving code testability. A mentor and coach, he has helped multiple engineers advance into leadership while embedding practices like TDD and unit testing. With academic grounding from Université de Lorraine and St. Andrews, he blends formal CS training with practical DevOps and architecture experience to build reliable, cost-efficient software.

The user fixed the query builder for 2.x, ensuring correct behavior when filters and queries were combined. Additionally, they added features, such as the ability to specify the type for a multi-match query and the query string, incorporating improvements like accepting a fields parameter.
