Senior🎓
Top SchoolNavdeep Agarwal is a data engineering leader and founder with nine years of experience building high-performance, cost-efficient analytics platforms for web-scale workloads. As Co-Founder of OrcaSheets and DataOrc, he specializes in "local-first" and cloud-cost-optimized analytics that run hundreds of millions to billions of rows on a laptop or scale to petabyte-class clusters. His work at Hotstar and Chainalysis delivered dramatic cost and performance wins—10x cost reductions, 4x faster queries, and consistent reliability during 50x traffic spikes like IPL. He combines hands-on systems engineering (Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Kafka) with product-driven automation to move prototypes into production-grade pipelines. Based in Pune, he pairs startup grit with enterprise delivery, having helped 75+ organizations cut cloud spend by up to 90% while preserving throughput. Less obvious: he focuses on “frugal performance” — designing systems that prioritize low-cost operations as a feature, not a compromise.
