Top SchoolNaveen Bandarage is a software engineer with 8 years' experience building cloud-native systems, APIs, and developer tooling, currently helping Xero save 300+ engineer-weeks annually through developer acceleration initiatives. He blends backend expertise in .NET, Java, Go, and Python with frontend React/Next.js and infrastructure skills across Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/Azure, and SQL. Focused on infrastructure automation and AI integrations, he’s exploring MCP, agentic AI, and coding assistants to embed guardrails and practical value into existing developer workflows. Early experience in cybersecurity, data pipelines, and tutoring underpins his careful approach to secure, observable systems. Outside of work he balances the craft with anime, manga, basketball and regular gym sessions, and he’s open to connecting on projects that bridge AI and developer productivity.
