Senior🎓
Top SchoolNavneet Chaudhary is a Staff Software Engineer and GenAI researcher with nine years of experience building search, recommendation, and multilingual multimodal retrieval systems that power product discovery at scale. He has led ML initiatives across e-commerce and enterprise products—co-owning Samsung’s ShopApp and SCom autocomplete used across 60+ countries and 30+ languages—and specializes in generative AI for autocomplete, product representation, and reranking. Navneet’s background blends five years of product development at SAP Labs with data-science roles that delivered user- and item-embedding based recommenders, reflecting a rare mix of production engineering and research. He focuses on relevance and diversity in search, integrating text, image, audio, and video signals, and is pursuing advanced AI studies (M.Tech in AI/ML) to push multimodal retrieval further. An interesting non-obvious detail: he actively drives both research and product ownership, ensuring models translate directly into customer-facing features at global scale.
