Senior🎓
Top SchoolNawaf Alsharqi is a Senior Software Engineer based in Riyadh with six years of experience designing and operating resilient, scalable backend systems for high-throughput commerce platforms. At HungerStation he drives architecture and observability improvements across Quick-Commerce, led a 20M+ cart migration, and halved CI build times while improving incident response. He has strong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL replication (pglogical), Go microservices, chaos and load testing, and Domain-Driven Design, demonstrated by migrating legacy monoliths to high-performance services handling ~750K requests/day. Nawaf combines feature delivery with engineering enablement—running knowledge-sharing sessions, writing RFCs, and interviewing candidates to raise team standards. He’s pragmatic about reliability (improving item-replacement acceptance and reducing order failures) and has a pattern of turning operational pain points into measurable product improvements.
