Senior🎓
Top SchoolNeal Donnan is a Solutions Architect with 12 years of experience designing and delivering large enterprise projects across finance, healthcare, and software services. Based in Gauteng, South Africa, he blends deep Java and JEE roots with leadership roles from senior developer to technical lead and architectural ownership at firms such as Entelect, ModusBox and BBD. Neal’s background in computer science and mathematics and an MSc focus in enterprise architecture management inform his pragmatic approach to aligning technical solutions with business outcomes. He is comfortable translating complex legacy landscapes into modern, scalable architectures and mentoring delivery teams through that transformation. A career-long focus on enterprise-grade reliability and integration means he often leads the hardest parts of projects—interoperability, governance and performance tuning. Outside of work history, his steady progression from hands-on developer to architect signals a practitioner who still values code-level understanding while steering strategic decisions.
