Senior🎓
Top SchoolNed Hanks is a senior cloud systems engineer with over three decades in IT and a decade focused on cloud and infrastructure roles, currently leading cloud and Kubernetes work at O.C. Tanner. He blends broad, hands-on experience across software development, systems and database administration, networking, and cloud architecture—making him a practical generalist who can bridge gaps between teams and technologies. His day-to-day centers on designing, deploying, and managing AWS resources and on-prem Kubernetes clusters, with a strong emphasis on Linux systems administration and workload networking. A longtime practitioner rather than a narrow specialist, he brings institutional memory and cross-domain troubleshooting skills that accelerate incident resolution and system hardening. Based in West Jordan, Utah, he also applies entrepreneurial experience from co-owning a small business to operations and process improvements in engineering teams.
