Top SchoolNeel Ghoshal is a Master's student in Computer Science at NC State and a research-focused ML engineer specializing in production-grade LLM systems, retrieval-augmented generation, and multi-agent orchestration. With five years of experience across research labs and industry internships, he built a production RAG pipeline over 200+ geospatial datasets using FAISS and Sentence-Transformers and deployed a LoRA-finetuned Qwen2.5-Coder that cut tool-selection latency by ~5×. He also has hands-on experience in code translation evaluation (C→Rust), recommendation systems at scale, and synthetic data pipelines that reduced annotation effort by 80%. Comfortable moving models from prototype to GPU-backed deployment, Neel blends research rigor with practical engineering to optimize retrieval, chunking, and agent workflows. Based in Raleigh, he is currently seeking ML/AI engineering roles where he can scale LLM infrastructure and developer tooling.
