Senior🎓
Top SchoolNeil Shankar is a designer-developer hybrid with 11 years of experience building product and brand experiences across startups and tech giants from 8tracks to Google and Block. Based in Berkeley, he transitioned from front-end engineering into senior product and creative roles, most recently founding his own design venture, On Me, after a promotion to L6 at Block. His work spans consumer-facing products (Square, Cash App, Chrome, Android) and internal design systems, and he’s comfortable shipping code as well as pixel-perfect interfaces. At Block he operated as an individual contributor while informally managing a small team, reflecting a pragmatic mix of hands-on craft and leadership. An Indian-American creative, Neil maintains a public portfolio and site (tallneil.io) that showcases both design strategy and implementation—an uncommon blend that lets him move fluidly between concept and production.
