Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolNethanel Kohen is a software engineer based in New York with eight years of experience building front-end and full-stack applications using TypeScript, React/React Native, Redux, Node, and Express. Currently at Wistia, he brings product-minded engineering from prior roles at Contently, Bionic, and several startups where he combined development with project management responsibilities. His background in film and media (NYU) and earlier production roles gives him a strong appreciation for user experience and storytelling in product interfaces. Trained at New York Code + Design Academy, he pairs modern web tooling with practical delivery habits and a history of shipping customer-facing features. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic problem-solver who comfortably bridges design, implementation, and ops. He quietly leverages multidisciplinary experience—from teaching and customer experience to production—to translate ambiguous requirements into polished, maintainable software.
