Senior🎓
Top SchoolNexus Systems is a veteran software architect and founder with nine years of recorded experience and a continuous track record of delivering custom software since 1985 through Nexus Software Systems. He specializes in end-to-end solutions—ranging from low-level Assembly and C/C++ to modern Go, C#, Java, microservices and cloud-ready APIs—focused on e-commerce, web platforms, and data-driven applications. His work blends classical engineering discipline with contemporary techniques like machine learning, predictive analytics and big data to improve pricing, recommendations and fraud prevention. Having migrated large systems across platforms and integrated many third-party APIs (Authorize.net, PayPal, Google, eBay, UPS), he’s fluent in both legacy and modern stacks. Based in Bangor, Maine, he pairs MIT and Boston University computer science credentials with a pragmatic, craft-focused approach to software quality and long-lived production systems. An often-overlooked strength is his sustained role as both technical lead and business owner, giving him rare end-to-end responsibility from architecture to customer outcomes.
