Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNguyen Nguyen is a full-stack software engineer based in San Diego with five years of experience building TypeScript-forward React and Node.js applications backed by SQL and NoSQL databases. At Swell (OS Labs) he shipped tRPC testing support, leveraged TypeScript for safer, self-documenting code, and integrated Redux, Material-UI, and Electron-Builder to deliver cross-platform, production-ready developer tooling. Trained in Cognitive Science and Human-Computer Interaction at UC San Diego, he brings a user-centered perspective to complex front-end and state-management problems. He balances pragmatic engineering with curiosity—often prototyping interactions inspired by strategic games like chess and Civilization—and maintains a disciplined, outdoors-oriented lifestyle that fuels long-term focus. His GitHub (nqnguyen1) reflects a hands-on approach to open-source collaboration and tooling that bridges developer ergonomics and reliable shipping.
