Senior🎓
Top SchoolNhut Tan is a seasoned PHP and JavaScript web engineer with over 15 years of experience and a decade working deeply in modern web stacks, including seven years building and optimizing applications in Japan. He has led migrations from legacy CodeIgniter/PHP7 systems to PHP 8.2, standardized Docker-based CI/CD, and cut page load times and image processing costs dramatically through bespoke image servers and real-time resizing. As a DevOps-minded project manager, he blends hands-on coding with operational improvements that boost reliability and developer productivity, and he publishes widely used OSS (including a library with over 10 million monthly downloads). Currently based in Chiba and balancing childcare leave with ongoing OSS maintenance, he seeks remote roles where his performance-tuning expertise and cross-cultural experience can deliver measurable user and cost benefits.
