Senior🎓
Top SchoolNic De Sousa is a senior software engineer and enterprise solutions architect with over two decades of hands-on experience designing secure, Linux-first infrastructures and containerized, SRE-driven platforms. He has led architecture and implementation efforts across banking, fintech, and healthcare—driving containerization, DevSecOps, Zero Trust workstations, and enterprise endpoint management comparable to Google BeyondCorp. At FirstRand and FNB Forex he defined container standards and reference implementations that modernized legacy systems, and at SPAN Digital Innovation he continues to deliver scalable engineering solutions. Nic combines formal software engineering practice (MSc with distinction) and Agile delivery with deep practical skills in performance, automation and security hardening. He’s comfortable both chairing architecture boards and rolling up his sleeves to build secure developer workstations and integrated auditing solutions. A subtle strength is his long track record of translating regulatory and compliance demands into pragmatic, production-ready architectures.
