Nicholas Chen is a product and strategy leader with 11 years of experience building and scaling blockchain infrastructure and consumer products from Singapore. As CEO and Rust engineer at SolanaFM he architected the original backend, built a high-throughput indexer and query engine that handled 400 blocks/sec and 100TB of queryable data, and scaled the product to 500k monthly active users while raising $5.2M. He combines hands-on systems engineering (Rust, datacenter buildouts) with product vision, having co-founded multiple crypto startups and contributed across Solana, Polkadot, and Ethereum ecosystems. Now at Jupiter he focuses on product strategy for web3 primitives, bringing operator-level infrastructure experience and a history of growing engineering teams to 20+. An early kernel developer and longtime educator, he pairs low-level technical chops with a talent for cultivating culture and shipping at scale.
