Senior🎓
Top SchoolNicholas Ericksen is a Senior Solutions Architect with 11 years of hands-on software and security engineering experience, currently focused on Palo Alto Networks’ XSIAM and XSOAR products. He blends deep electrical engineering training (M.S.) with practical expertise in Javascript, Python, cloud and DevOps to design and automate complex security workflows for global customers. His background spans systems engineering, SIEM architectures, and building integrations and playbooks that turn security telemetry into operational automation. Comfortable moving between research-grade signal processing (polarimetric sensing) and production cloud systems, he brings a rare mix of academic rigor and field-tested pragmatism. Based in Norway, he pairs cybersecurity domain knowledge with a mathematician’s attention to detail and a philosopher’s curiosity about systems and tradeoffs.
