Top SchoolNicholas Mackey is a Principal Software Engineer and frontend-focused engineering leader with 11+ years of experience designing and shipping web applications across E-Commerce, Fintech, and digital design. He architected large-scale frontend migrations, led frontend guilds, and mentors teams to modernize stacks and improve testing, accessibility, and developer workflows. Comfortable full‑stack, he pairs a love of JavaScript and modern web frameworks with server-side API design and algorithmic problem solving. Nicholas brings rare domain depth from banking and defense systems—translating complex requirements into componentized, maintainable UIs and robust backend integrations. He’s as interested in how teams work as in how code works, often driving architecture decisions while promoting ownership, collaboration, and practical UX best practices.
