Top SchoolNick Amoscato is a Staff Software Engineer in Pittsburgh with 13 years building full‑stack, maintainable systems and delightful interfaces for startups and scaled teams. He currently architects automation and collaboration tooling at Fieldguide using React, realtime GraphQL, and Postgres, after leading feature teams at JazzHR and co‑founding a live‑events app that merged mobile, web, and Bluetooth wearables. Comfortable across backend, frontend, and data systems, he pairs engineering rigor with a designer’s eye to prioritize usability and long‑term architecture. His freelance work and early internships show a history of shipping client-facing products across music, retail, and higher education. A trained musician who brings jazz sensibilities to problem solving, he often blends creative systems thinking with pragmatic engineering tradeoffs.
