Top SchoolNick Cate is a solutions architect and serial CTO with two decades of hands-on experience building high-performance software and large-scale network infrastructure across Europe and Asia. He co-founded multiple startups—most notably a fiber ISP serving 3,000+ customers and a multimedia CDN platform that scaled to 750,000 concurrent viewers—and has led architecture, operations, and compliance for national-scale government applications like CoronaCheck. Based in The Hague, he blends deep systems engineering (datacenter and field fiber deployments) with devops and security-minded operations, including NEN/ISO/BIO compliance. Comfortable turning prototypes into resilient production services, he has a track record of designing monitoring, provisioning, and integration systems that bridge hardware and software stacks. An alumnus of TU Delft with roots in embedded and electrical engineering, he brings entrepreneurial grit and crisis-proven continuity planning to complex infrastructure projects.
