Summary
👤
SeniorNick Ciarleglio is a seasoned network and systems engineer with 12 years of experience building low-latency, market-facing infrastructure across financial services and networking vendors. He has progressed from technical consultant roles to distinguished engineering at Arista and leadership positions at MEMX, where he led member experience and market technology efforts. Now a Member of Technical Staff at Nexthop AI in the New York metro area, he blends deep packet-level expertise—self-described as a "packet plumber"—with product-focused delivery. Nick's background shows a pattern of moving between hands-on systems engineering and operational leadership, making him comfortable translating protocol-level complexity into reliable production services. He brings practical experience shipping mission-critical systems for exchanges and network operators, with a knack for debugging the smallest bits that break the biggest systems. Colleagues would note his ability to bridge vendor-grade engineering discipline with pragmatic market-facing product execution.
