Top SchoolNick Cronquist is a Senior DevSecOps Engineer and platform architect with 11–14 years of experience building developer experience (DX) tooling, internal developer platforms, and CI/CD at scale from his Seattle base. He has a track record of turning manual processes into automated pipelines—reducing deployment times, cutting cloud storage costs, and enabling frequent, reliable releases across complex microservice landscapes. At companies like Flatfile, Olive, and Blackstone he led platform standardization efforts, introduced automated preview environments, and drove Terraform and CI/CD best practices organization-wide. Nick combines hands-on engineering with guild-level leadership, mentoring peers while operationalizing security and compliance for production systems. He leans into event-driven architectures and observability, having built high-throughput APIs and robust job-tracking systems that improved reliability and developer feedback loops. Beyond engineering, his background in business-facing IT and international implementation projects gives him a practical, product-aware approach to platform design.
