Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Hammond is an experienced project delivery manager based in Edinburgh with over two decades of involvement in IT and 11 years in senior delivery roles across major UK banks and utilities. He has a strong track record delivering large, regulated programmes—reengineering risk data warehouses to meet BCBS 239, integrating e-commerce and mortgage platforms, and leading multi-vendor, offshore teams to deliver complex banking and e‑fraud solutions. Comfortable across Agile and Waterfall approaches, he combines technical fluency (ETL, Oracle, Java, mainframe integrations) with stakeholder-facing governance, budgeting and steering‑board reporting. He founded and ran a consultancy for 16 years, which informs his pragmatic, client-focused approach to delivery and vendor management. Known for translating regulatory and business requirements into practical, auditable solutions, he thrives on untangling complex legacy landscapes to enable reliable, compliant change.
