Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Heiner is an Account Director and former full‑stack engineer with nine years of experience building scalable web and AI platforms across startups, enterprise streaming, and critical government services. He blends hands-on technical chops—from infrastructure and data pipelines to React-based client platforms—with client-facing leadership, currently owning Surge AI’s engagement with Meta and shaping product and operational strategy for Llama. His background includes founding-engineer work on AI agent PaaS, scaling platform reliability and worker engagement, and shipping resilient UI platforms at Netflix for living-room devices. At USDS he delivered measurable public-impact software (helping a tax payment tool collect hundreds of millions and modernizing VA caseflow workflows), showing an ability to navigate complex organizations and regulatory constraints. Based in Seattle, he pairs engineering pragmatism with program-level partnership skills, often surfacing subtle operational levers (AB testing, on-call culture, platform features) to drive both product and organizational outcomes.
