Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Heyer is a data-oriented senior software engineer based in Mission Viejo, California, with five years of professional engineering experience and a background that blends product-focused development with project management. He has progressed from hands-on roles at small teams and property-management tech to senior engineering at OmniTrust, where he ships practical solutions that favor gamification and user engagement. An avid open-source contributor, Nick brings a storyteller’s sensibility to engineering—crafting systems that make data approachable and enjoyable to interact with. Comfortable across the stack and unafraid of tooling quirks (yes, he knows how to exit VIM), he pairs pragmatic coding with strong stakeholder communication honed from years managing HOA workflows. Outside work he combines a love of gaming and narrative to inspire creative problem-solving in software design.
