Nick Krause
Staff Engineer at AMBOSS
Berlin, Germany
Summary
👤
SeniorNick Krause is a Staff Engineer based in Berlin with a decade of experience building front-end driven products and improving developer experience across organizations. Currently leading DX efforts at AMBOSS, he shapes shared libraries, guides cross-team initiatives, and runs a web guild that fosters frontend culture and knowledge-sharing. He pairs hands-on technical contributions with people-first leadership—mentoring engineers through regular 1:1s and aligning design, platform, and product stakeholders on major initiatives. Previously he led product engineering and full‑stack work at Inspectorio and contributed to high-impact projects at Code Particle, including systems used by millions for gift card infrastructure. Nick is especially effective at turning vague product goals into concrete, maintainable patterns and processes that scale across teams.
