Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Lansley is a veteran innovation director and technologist with over three decades of hands-on experience turning data, APIs and pragmatic innovation practices into commercial products and cultural change. He led early digital grocery at Tesco—building the first home shopping systems, accessible web experiences and developer-facing grocery APIs—and later headed Open Innovation and R&D teams that bridged startups and enterprise. As an innovation consultant and current director of his Ireland-based firm, he helps organisations stand up innovation teams, run hackathons, mentor startups and operationalise emerging standards like GS1 Digital Link. He teaches coding, champions accessibility to close the digital divide, and balances technical work with creative output through video and music production. Less obvious: he combines deep systems-level engineering chops with a knack for translating those insights into persuasive pitches that get projects funded and integrated at scale.
