Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Maher is a full-stack Software Engineer based in London with 11 years of experience building web platforms and APIs, currently developing products at Koru Kids. He brings a solid Ruby on Rails background from roles at Fitzdares and Appear Here, with hands-on experience in APIs, OAuth client authentication, background processing, websockets and integration with third-party services. Comfortable across front- and back-end concerns, he enjoys solving problems programmatically and treats code as "grown-up Lego"—assembling reliable systems from small, well-designed parts. Early work building internal apps at GE and client sites as a freelancer sharpened his pragmatic approach to shipping useful software. He combines first-class software engineering education with a decade of production experience in marketplaces and trading platforms, and is known for turning complex requirements into maintainable, production-ready solutions.
