Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Main is a contract iOS/tvOS engineer with 17 years of experience, currently building features at NBCUniversal using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI and AVKit. He focuses on roles where he can have deep impact on small, close-knit audiences—developer tools, frameworks, and open-source infrastructure—often working on language runtime bridges and bytecode generation. Nick is particularly interested in projects that embed or connect languages (Swift/Python, Kotlin/Python, Prolog) or produce targets like WASM, DEX/JVM, or Python bytecode, and he will only consider Roku work that replaces BrightScript with compiler tooling. Trained with a Master’s in Computer Science from Cambridge, he combines academic rigor with pragmatic product delivery. Based in Claremont, CA, he writes code "so that future generations do not have to," signaling a long-term, tool-focused mindset and a preference for durable engineering.
