Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNick Malaguti is a seasoned engineering leader and co-founder with 17 years of experience building and scaling complex systems across education, finance, and enterprise. He has a track record of hands-on technical leadership—designing architectures used by millions, migrating CI/CD pipelines to GitHub Actions, and personally simplifying high-risk code to cut incidents—while growing and upskilling teams at fast-moving, growth-stage companies like Narmi and Knewton. Comfortable as both a player-coach and an architect, he blends operational rigor (PERT/OPM planning, cross-team alignment) with pragmatic engineering improvements that accelerate delivery. After a purposeful sabbatical focused on personal and professional development, he’s returned with renewed focus on AI/ML and building teams that maximize productivity and measurable business value. Based in New York, he pairs deep systems experience (Python, Kotlin, Java, Kubernetes) with a hands-on habit of owning infrastructure and developer experience to drive reliable outcomes.
