Top SchoolNick Maris is an AI Engineer and engineering leader based in Athens with 9 years of experience building reliable QA automation and delivery practices across startups and large enterprises. He has progressed from hands-on QA automation—creating Python and Java-based frameworks, introducing CI, and improving developer experience—to managing and scaling engineering teams as a Software Development Manager responsible for hiring, performance processes, and removing delivery impediments. Comfortable operating as an Agile Coach and Release Train Engineer, he brings pragmatic scaled-agile experience and a track record of aligning stakeholders and forming high-performing teams. Currently seeking full- or part-time remote contracts in Europe or Asia time zones and exploring co-founder opportunities for a stealth AI startup, he combines technical craftsmanship with people-first leadership and an unusual mix of academic research experience (EPFL/Verimag) and production-grade automation skills.
