Top SchoolNick Miethe is a technology leader and CTO with 11 years of experience modernizing infrastructure, automating operations, and driving cloud-native transformation across defense and commercial sectors. Currently leading BoxBoat and Red Hat architecture efforts at IBM, he blends hands-on DevOps, OpenShift, and CI/CD expertise with strategic platform design for initiatives like Platform One and the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent. He’s skilled at redesigning bootstrap architectures and delivering cost-effective automation that reduces toil while improving security and scalability. A serial founder of Meaty Media and Meaty Reviews, he pairs enterprise consulting experience with entrepreneurial pragmatism and a penchant for homelab experimentation. Based in the Greensboro–Winston-Salem area, he brings a multidisciplinary background in computer science and anthropology to human-centered platform solutions. Colleagues describe him as someone who deliberately modernizes “dinosaurs” — legacy systems — by applying creative, low-cost engineering.
