Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Norkin is a senior full-stack engineer based in England with 13 years of experience, specialising in backend systems built with Ruby, Elixir, Go and JavaScript. He has a strong track record of shipping web applications end-to-end—designing, testing and deploying services using containerisation, orchestration and messaging queues across startups and scale-ups. Nick moves comfortably between hands-on coding and system-level architecture, having held senior roles at companies like Fresha, YardLink and now Homey. He combines pragmatic engineering with good communication skills and a knack for operational reliability, often owning CI/CD and deployment workflows. Outside work he keeps an active social life—foosball, squash and live music—which he says helps him maintain focus and team energy.
